Yehuda Gelberger, our Executive Director, was born and raised in Toronto. Following high school, he spent 3 years learning in Eretz
Yisrael, spending time at both Yeshivat Sha’arei Mevaseret Zion and Yeshivat Hakotel. During his time at HaKotel,
Yehuda served as an advisor for the overseas program and represented the institution at recruitment shabbatons in
America. As an undergraduate at Yeshiva University, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the
Sy Syms School of Business. Upon graduating, Yehuda worked as a portfolio manager for Alliance Bernstein LLP
in New York. Most recently, he worked on a start-up project, BookXchange, and helped the company create and
successfully launch its business. Together with his wife, Jennifer, Yehuda spent this past year as the youth director at
the Young Israel Ohab Zedek of North Riverdale/Yonkers.
